The time he kissed Sansa at the Eyrie was more to get a reaction from Lysa than anything else, but I always thought that his love for Catelyn was his one real emotional feature (and, perhaps in the context of the story, his weakness.) It still doesn't make a huge amount of sense, except that the story needs to go in a certain direction, and this must have seemed like the best way to do it without introducing all those additional characters from the books.

David C. Absolutely nothing...

The only possible profit would be to turn the Lannisters against the Bolton, and, that actually happened, but LF himself advised cersei to NOT act against them, so what´s the point?

Also, he could have obtained that by just lying about Sansa´s being about to marry Ramsay, or, he could have promised her in marriage but not let her ther, instead promising to bring her back soon...why not?

But then, we have the real issue, LF has a gigantic crush on sansa, because she looked a lot like catlin (yes, right), why would he left her to a sadistic monster who raped her and was about to dismember her and turn her into a disfigured baby making machine?

Short, bad writing, that´s all about it.

Re: About that Sansa/Ramsay “Game of Thrones” Scene

I have been thinking many of the same things.

Re: Tiny Houses and the High Cost of Living Off the Grid

I could live in a capsule hotel. I have also had drinks and food spiked with moderate amounts of MSG. I recognized the taste from past restaurant employment (and that fact that it does not disolve in ice water). This is usually happens after sending food back to the kitchen. I have thought about trying to catch them by saving samples, but it sounds like you have to catch them on video. First is this odd notion that someone who can go to the trouble of registering can't go to the trouble of getting an ID. Now the argument that ID's cost money and some may not be able to afford them seems forced. But that doesn't mean it isn't true. Never the less it's something that seems awfully easy to fix. The other is the way it's played out between the two main parties. One insists that fraud does take place and wants to come up with a solution. The other swears there is little to no fraud going on but will spare no expense trying to prevent the first from stopping this non existent problem. That is just plain fishy. The solution that would piss just about the entire country off (which may be why I like it) would be to tag every citizen the way we tag pets. A subdermal RFID tag with your name and social security number coded into it would do the trick. You would still need to register in the district you vote in but after that you need do nothing more than let them pass a wand over your arm when you go to the polls.

Re: The Second and the Twenty-Fourth

Speaking hypothetically, perhaps not. That sounds like an expensive proposition, though. A national ID system would probably fix some/all of the concerns, but that's not without its problems and opponents. I'd like to play the 'Poll Tax' 'not Poll Tax' game. If there were a way to completely eliminate the expense of the ID. And we will have to take this to a pretty ridiculous level to get there but lets say that during the next census a federal employee comes to your home, verifies who you are, gives you a permanent ID that couldn't be lost or stolen or transferred and registers you to vote all at once. Would there remain any reason to oppose the voter ID?

Re: At Long Last, Guys Who Play Video Games Have a Voice!!!

I just read through hashtag not your scape goat.
